The Greenville Hospital System's
Hospice Program
offers a bereavement support group led by the Rev. Sally Parrott, It is held at
White Oak Baptist Church on the second Saturday and fourth Monday of each
month. Call 455-0900.
The Buddy Club is a support group for children,
ages 6 to 13 who have lost a family member. Sponsored by the Children's
Hospital of the Greenville Hospital System, the group meets from 5 to 6 PM on
the first Tuesday of each month. Contact Pat Field at 455-8898.
Chris Whaley Ministries offers support groups that are
held by request, generally about every three months. "Through the Night of
Bereavement," is a seminar featuring several workshops. Call 242-2067 to
register.
The Life Enrichment Center at Greenville Tech is the
location for a Widows' Support Group on the fourth Tuesday of each month. Call

The Cancer Society of Greenville
County offers
"Guide Through Grief' at the Society's House of Hope, 113 Mills Avenue.
The group meets at Noon on the second and fourth Thursdays of the month. Call

The Christian Counseling Center offers a bereavement support
group on Mondays at 7:30 PM. Call 244-0898.
The Crisis Line offers bereavement support

Helpline offers bereavement support
information and referral. Call 467-3300. Somebody
Cares, a support group for parents who have lost a child, meets at 7 PM on
the fourth Thursday of each month at Abundant Life Church in Bet-ea. Call Marie
Bolding at 455-4413.
Compassionate Friends, a support group for parents who
have lost a child, meets at 7:30 PM on the second Thursday of each month at
Pelham Road Baptist Church, Call Betty Garrett at 288-8342.
Resolve Through Sharing offers a bereavement group for
parents who have experienced a loss due to miscarriage, stillbirth or neonatal
death. It is held on the third Tuesday of each month at 7 PM at the Greenville
Hospital System's ESC Building, Call 455-3911.
Survivors of Suicide offers a support group at 7 PM on
the first and third Tuesdays of the month. The meetings are held at Laurel
Baptist Church, 2331 Laurens Road.
Survivors of Homicide offers a support group at 7 PM on
the third Thursday of each month. The meeting is held at the Greenville Mental
Health Center, 715 Grove Road.
HOPE Ministries offers bereavement support groups
on the second Tuesday of each month at the Pickens County Library. The Rev.
Lewis Edwards leads the groups that meet at 10 AM and 7 PM. Call 878-6371.
Steps to Enter Peace offers a support group at Asbury
Hall in Easley, sponsored by Robinson's Funeral Home. It is held at 7:30 PM on
the second Monday of the month. Call Bob Gibson at 859-4001.
